Re-release of CASIOTRON in limited edition
To mark the 50th anniversary of the first CASIO watch – CASIOTRON – the watch has been re-released in an improved form. The watch was first released in 1974 and was the world's first watch with an automatic calendar.
The watch is now re-released in almost the same form, but with some modern updates. Only 4,000 pieces were produced, and each watch is numbered.
The new watch, TRN-50, retains the design and spirit of the original CASIOTRON watch, but now includes smartphone connectivity that ensures the watch is always set to the correct time zone, along with other modern conveniences.
